There will be no complete English version of this site apart from the automatically generated English and French site. A short summary of the current website, the site is a knowledgeblog for the topic of safety in The Netherlands. Specifically aimed at offering information on scientific and governmental publications regarding crisismanagement. As an addition there are different RSS feeds available for twitter, newsitems and research articles. The Twitter feed is filtered on veiligheid, the Dutch word for safety. The news feeds use the yahoo pipes feature to filter news from various Dutch news websites on different keywords.
The site is currently in a bèta phase and is not fully communicated yet, but will be in the near future. At this moment I wanted to experience the possibilities of a WordPress.com weblog, although these come with less standard options compared to the externally hosted WordPress.org weblogs. I am very pleased with this site and impressed by the options a free weblog can offer. Feel free to react.
